Black women have historically faced disproportionate exposure to toxic ingredients in beauty products, and we are on a mission to advocate for clean, safe beauty standards.

Our 2026 Focus
BAN TOXIC HAIR STRAIGHTENERS
The FDA is delaying a crucial ban on formaldehyde in hair straighteners, knowingly leaving our community exposed to a known carcinogen. We’re focused on holding them accountable to protect our health.
DETOX OUR BRAIDING HAIR
Consumer Reports tests found carcinogens in all popular synthetic braiding hair. With zero safety rules, Black women and girls are at risk. We’re fighting to end this hidden hazard and ensure our style is safe.
PASS LAWS FOR SAFER BEAUTY
Awareness must lead to action. We’re championing the Safer Beauty Bill Package—a set of laws to ban the worst chemicals, protect women of color, and force the beauty industry to be transparent. Your voice is power.
